InDesign Scripts
Problem
Multiple versions (an instructor version and a participant version) of a document were needed from a single source. Traditionally, this was accomplished by maintaining 2 documents, which was inefficient and error-prone.
Solution
I planned and wrote a series of scripts that allowed training developers to export the needed versions out of a single InDesign document.
Reduced development time on workbooks by 30% and reduced entry errors by a similar amount.
Tools
Wrote scripts for multiple version of Adobe InDesign using ExtendScript toolscript. Adobe Scripting is based on Javascript.
